Our Team


Our dedicated team plays an integral part in the success of our patients at Pine Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center. The members of our skilled and diverse therapy team have over 125 years combined experience with specialties in orthopedics, spinal treatment, neurological treatment, wounds, geriatrics, wheelchair positioning, restraint reduction, swallowing, cognitive staging and urinary incontinence. Our staff is compassionate and understanding to our patients' needs and foster a warm and positive atmosphere while utilizing their years of experience and skill to provide treatment.

Austin Flittner
Marketing Director

Austin Flittner, Marketing Director, was born and raised on the Westside of Evansville. He is a graduate of Mater Dei High School and the University of Southern Indiana where he majored in Biology. He began working in long term care while attending college in 2013 and has worked in various roles since, such as, Dietary Aide, Activity Assistant, Activity Director, Admissions Director, and currently Marketing Director. Austin has a passion for bringing joy into the lives of the elderly.

Lisa Langley
Admissions Director

Lisa Langley, Admissions Director, has worked in the nursing field for over 20 years. She began her career as a C.N.A. where she worked with both the elderly and newborn populations. She fell in love with the elderly population and decided to continue her education at Ivy Tech Community College where in 1996 she graduated with her Licensed Practical Nurse Degree. Lisa's passion has always been to serve the elderly and work with people to make them smile on their worst days. She has held various positions as a nurse, working on the floor directly with patients, as well as management roles, such as, Weekend Supervisor, Staffing Coordinator, Human Resource Director, and currently Admissions Director.

Janie Swedenburg
Executive Director

Janie Swedenburg, Executive Director, graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with her Masters in Health Administration, Bachelors in Health Services, and a Minor in Gerontology. Janie is also a National Certified Dementia Practitioner and has a 20 year background in physical therapy receiving her Associates in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis. Janie has worked as a Licensed Long Term Care Administrator in both Indiana and New York since 2008. She is excited to bring her knowledge and talents to Pine Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Brian Ball
Director of Nursing

Brian Ball, Director of Nursing, has an extensive background in Long Term Care and truly enjoys working with our elder population. He says, "It is truly an honor to work with our seniors and show them the care and compassion they deserve." Brian has lived in Evansville for over 25 years and is very involved in the community. His wife Tiffany works for the EVSC in fine arts and his son Raegan is an EMT in Avon, Colorado. His passions include being a member of the Shriners and helping kids in the tri-state area through Shriners Hospitals for Children and also through his late son's foundation The Jacob Ball Wish Fund. Brian truly looks forward to working with the residents and staff at Pine Haven!
